I have great news and bad news. The bad news is I did not get into Shoreline. My compass test score was below requirement. The good news is I have decided to go to the nursing program in Tacoma CC!! :) I just feel relieved, it's been quite a long wait. Hope to hear from others soon!! A great encouragement for those who don't get in: Don't lose hope. Be persistent. Just keep in mind that hard work doesn't come from winning, hard work comes from struggling. Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end. Best wishes everyone!! :)

Min points were 106.75. I had 106.35, so I'm an alternate can't believe the wait's not over.

Hola! I created this group hoping that we can all stay in touch and meet on orientation day! I just came back from work, opened the letter and I am in!!!!!! For those of you that got in congratulations, for those of you that didn't get in you can also try next quarter don't give up!!! The minimum points were so high this quarter. I a shocked! who is going to orientation on dec 2???

Soo.....I never logged back in last night, because I ended up having an impromptu celebratory dinner & drinks with friends and family. I am so excited to be a part of this cohort and I am amazed that the points were so high!! Is that a new recordâ€¦? I thought last year's winter quarter was high, but wow!

@Tobeanurse95 â€“ I wish you all the best in your nursing program at TCC!

@cml999 â€“ That is so high on the alternate list, I am sure you will get in. I think that there may be at least a couple people that end up changing their mind, or have to drop for one reason or another. I will be keeping my finger crossed for you!

@Lenkis â€“ Woohoo, Congratulations!!! Looks like we are going to have a long & crazy journey ahead of us.
