Hello everyone!
I am currently looking into applying for Shoreline's nursing program and was just curious about the points system. For anyone that has been recently accepted into Shoreline's program, what was the total number of your entrance points? As it stands, I currently only have 89 points out of 115 because I am not a CNA and do not have enough volunteer hours to get more points on the system.
Any help will be appreciated!
Thanks! :)
Silburr--I was just accepted as well :) I couldn't believe that the minimum points required was that high this year. I'm thinking it was the highest of all time. Looking forward to starting the program. Will you be there December 3rd?
Congrats tpeacoe1! I agree! the minimum points for winter 2014 was high! It was higher than fall. I thought fall quarter would always have the highest points because more people apply. Yes! I will be there on December 3rd! are you going to be there?
Looking forward to meet you! :))

Well done! I am.happy for you because I know how competitive it is.
I still have to take a whole bunch of classes. Getting a 4.0 is harder than I thought. I will make sure I get the max points and will apply to other schools as well. Please let us know how the program goes
also, did you have to write a paragraph including your bonus classes? Or why do you call it a paragraph. It sounds like you had to explain why you think those classes will help you be a better nurse. Thank you so much! Hopefully I can apply for next winter 2016.
