Not that I'm counting down or anything! My last day of work will be July 28th, with a few weeks off to rest before I start at TWU in August! I can wait.
Anyone else counting down the days?
Jennie
Tell you the truth...I just want to get started already....No more, " So when is your last day?" My last day is the week before school starts...I've been taking weekend trips all summer. Much love to all the SRNAs,'05,'06, and ESPECIALLY '07!!!! Much love to all the SRNAs at Texas Christian too. Gaspassah...good luck in graduating soon. And to all the CRNAs(oldheads), I've been on this site awhile and have learned so much from you. Hopefully, I can take the torch and make you all proud. I'm starting to tear up alittle bit.
Man, I can feel the love! This forum has really been an inspiration! Gaspassah, thanks for the kind words....from what I understand, they will be few and far between. Best of luck to you and your family! CONGRATS :balloons: Remembering the ones who look up to you says alot about your character!
See ya,
PS Nice name ScrappyRN! :rotfl:
Wohoo! One less shift. I started work at 7am, left at 11am for low census and hope I can stay home at 3pm. It would suck to go back in at 3pm for 4 hours. And I want to play in a couples scramble at our golf club with my hubby tonight!

Jennie,I am attending the University of Cincinnati! Well, I got cancelled today due to low census so that is one less shift left to go....lol!

I could have been on call today for LC; however, since I am such a tenderheart and had promised my patient's wife that I would be there today, I went in! Man, it is the family heartaches that I can't wait to get rid of! I can even handle the poop... :rotfl:
I did sign up for another vacation day though! I am thinking of it as a mental health day.....in advance! Also went and got my new photo id with SRNA on it! I was really PUMPED after I saw that thing!
4 more weeks sounds great!
then let the humble pie party begin

Gasspassah - congrats...i am a senior - but our program ends next spring (we stop clinical in march - and test in may) - our program is 30 months
right now we are all in the rut - can't go back - forward still seems too far away and school is starting to become work without a paycheck (which mind you - sucks....)
:) i am sure all felt this way at this time.
to those just starting - the first year will fly by - good luck.
Well, I am finally in Charlotte (got here last night). Now to find a house to rent! I looked at one this morning...it was a dog!
I start orientation 15 Aug/classes 22 Aug.
I have not worked since 11 June. My last shift sucked enough to suitably motivate me to never look back!
Andrea, hang in there!!!

Oh yeah!!!!! Been counting 'em since 50-something or other. Down to nine now (maybe eight if I take another vacation day)
My last day is July 29th.
Quite nervous though, treading into unknown territory.
I see another fellow future SRNA with me responded, she has been counting them with me (hey there GCShore :rotfl:)
Good luck to all of you starting and those finishing. I wish all of you nothing but the best.
