Shenandoah University

Hi, all!

I'm new here, and I'm not really sure where I need to post this, but here goes.

I've been accepted to Shenandoah's accelerated 2nd degree program for the fall semestet. Has anybody else gone through the program? What are your thoughts? Likes and dislikes? What are job prospects after application?

I have tried to do some research without a whole lot of results.

Thanks in advance.

Congrats on your acceptance! I have moved your post to the Virginia nursing forum to encourage maximum responses. :)

I recently graduated from Shenandoah. It was their transfer program though. Everyone i graduated with who has taken the nclex has found a job.

I graduated a year and a half ago. Most of my classmates found jobs before graduation. I had 2 job offers and am still with my job. In addition, I loved it so much that I am in grad school there now. Great program and it definitely prepares you for NCLEX and practicing as an RN. Congrats!

Thank you for your post. i know your post was over a year ago but im hoping you can shed some light on how the Midwifery program is? Specifically how are the classes structured? on campus? online? where you able to work full time while attending?

how are the professors?

do they place you for clinical sites or did you have to find your own?

How many days a week do you attend classes?
