  1. You can try doing private home care. I did that and it worked great for me. You can make your own schedule so that it fits with the rest of your life. Try care.com. best of luck :)
  2. I, and many of my friends, had accepted jobs prior to graduation. Hiring was contingent on passing the boards and passing a background check.
  3. I had several friends who got their ATT before i did though! They sent my transcripts in a few days after we graduated. The BON said they never got them...although the school sent all the transcripts together in one big envelope. So i sent them again.
  4. I waited 30 days for them to process my application and stuff. Everything was unchecked until the 30 days were up. They were kinda slow about it. Lol
  5. They only sent me a letter when they were missing my transcripts. I had to wait 30 days and then i started calling everyday until it was done. You should only have to do the background check/fingerprint stuff and send your transcripts.
  6. Good luck!
  7. If you can, wear clothing that is easy to give you access to pump. I know you probably have a uniform so that might not be possible
  8. Maybe try the hurst review. That worked really well for me
  9. I took A&P 2 and micro at the same time.
  10. I pumped while a student and i recently just started working as an RN and I'm still pumping (my son is 6 months old) I just let my clinical instructors and preceptor know that I would have to take breaks to pump and they were okay with it. I too would pump before i left and would pump twice during clinical depending on when they were. You do not have to pump in the bathroom...and I actually refuse to. I think it's gross. And technically it's my son's food. I don't want my food prepared in the bathroom, so i dont prepare his in the bathroom either. ..but that's just me! I've pumped in the car versus pumping in the bathroom!
  11. I recently graduated from Shenandoah. It was their transfer program though. Everyone i graduated with who has taken the nclex has found a job.
  12. You can probably call the Oklahoma board of nursing and ask them. They may be able to give you an idea of how long it will be. I transferred my license to a different state. My paperwork arrived monday and they processed it on Tuesday. Hopefully yours goes as quickly.
  13. It's probably too late for this to help but i used the hurst review and thought it was pretty good. i took the nclex Earlier this month and passed in 80 questions. I felt like the hurst review really prepared me We used ATI in school also but i did not use it to study. Many nurses i talked to prior to taking the NCLEX had said they had used ATI and didnt think it was the most helpful. Good Luck, I am sure that you will pass this next time!
  14. Congrats! Very happy for you.
