Published

Hey! Did anyone apply for the SHARP Spring 2023 residency? I haven't seen a thread for it yet.

Where did you apply?  And what department? Thank you!

Sharp Grossmont L&D!

I just got a call for an interview for Grossmont ED which I found strange since I applied for that department in August LOL

I applied to two med surg units in October

When is everyone interviewing??

Any tips? I haven’t had any interviews yet but mine is on Friday

What branch and department was your interview? Thank you.

They asked me: tell me about yourself, why this hospital? Tell me about an ethical dilemma you experienced and how you handled it/the outcome, tell me about a time you celebrated the success of a colleague (I wasn't expecting this one), how you would handle a doctor dismissing you, and how you would meet the needs of multiple patients (this one also threw me off) I would practice your answers to these and just be confident and don't rush it! Give examples

I was too scared to ask haha but I know they're going to do interviews tomorrow too, I'm hoping by the end of this week!

What are you guys putting in your portfolio. Right now I have my cover letter, resume, information about my preceptorship, BLS, other certifications, my degree, transcripts, verification of employment, and letters of recommendation. Any other suggestions?
