Did anyone apply for the new grad training at Sharp Mary Birch? If so, did you get the email to complete the screening?
Bummer..I really don't understand what they are looking for. Makes me nervous for the next application process. I wish I knew what they are looking for.
Linds, I totally get you. It's really hard to know what they're looking for. I thought that I had a semi-good chance (as I think we all did), but apparently not. I have heard that Sharp favors SD-area nurses over nurses from other areas. reeki and rnicholson, where are you from?

And congrats to you two for getting interviews!
@el_pom: I do live in San Diego. I haven't heard anything about whether or not they prefer San Diegans, but I do know they are familiar with all of the nursing programs down here. As a side note, my classmate that got a call for references last week did not get offered the position. So sad, she thought she was moving forward but I guess they decided to go with someone else. I know I should feel lucky for getting an interview, but sometimes I feel even more rejected because they actually met me and decided they didn't want me. Well, at least I'm getting interview practice, right? Good luck to you all...

Hi all,
So I actually interviewed for the SMB New Grad NICU program last week. I was told the last day of interviews was this past Monday 7/22/13. My classmate got a call for references on Tuesday but I've heard nothing, which means to me that I did not get chosen. I know how you guys feel about waiting around and not knowing so I thought I would share with you the information I had. Good luck to you all.. this was my 3rd interview with still no job. I'm getting soooo discouraged.
