SHARP New Grad Summer 2017

Making a thread for anyone applying to Sharps new grad program for summer of 2017! The application just opened today and closes on March 9th. Good Luck everyone!

Has anyone heard anything yet? I was reading the thread from a previous Sharp cohort and it took about 12 days from the end of the application period to when people's statuses began to change. The suspense is killing me. :sarcastic:

@onajourney @gamagek - I went to school in Arizona and got my license here in California. I was expecting it to be way more complicated than Arizona's application process, but @onajourney it sounds like you've got everything! As long as you've done and submitted the fingerprints, filled out and sent the application with pictures and the fee, submitted the transcript request to your school, and registered with Pearson Vue, you should be good! You do not need to do anything with breeze.ca.gov. It's just a waiting game from there.

Mine still says under consideration! I am the same way I just wanna know!! But maybe we will hear soon considering that is when the previous cohort heard. fingers crossed

Yeah, I keep checking this thread and Facebook groups for new grads to see if anyone has started to hear back from Sharp. So excited! I applied to Memorial and Grossmont.

Nothing so far. I know they opened the program up for one more week only for one location on one unit. It closed on March 16 so maybe it delayed the process. Hopefully we will hear something soon.

my friend just got an email for an interview at sharp memorial ICU, I haven't heard anything yet. Hopefully its not a bad sign.

Does anyone know what the invitation to self identify means? Maybe good thing? Got the email yesterday.
