SHARP New Grad Summer 2017

I just finished my applications! I applied to the ER and ICU at each location. I'm an out of state applicant. What about you?

I applied to the summer program today too! I applied to the MedSurg/PCU as my first choice and then I put OB acute as my second option. Truthfully, OB would be my first pick, but I don't take NCLEX until the 17th and I don't have the specialized certifications for that area.

I applied to ICU and ER. I live in SD but went to school in a different county. I wanted to apply to OB as well but that date is too soon for me. Good luck everyone!

I just applied to Grossmont and Memorial. I did a lot of my clinical rotations at Sharp so hopefully that helps me at least get an interview. Did anyone apply to more than one Sharp location?

I applied at all 3 locations. What units did you apply for? Any status changes for anyone? Mine is still 'Under Consideration'

I applied to med surg floors first choice and ICU second choice. Do you all already have your license or a date to take the NCLEX yet. I'm still waiting to get my day to test.

I applied to all three locations with ICU first choice and Medsurg/Pcu second choice. I live in the area but went to school in Orange County so hoping not having had clinical there does not affects my chances.

Few questions…I am an out of state applicant that graduates in May. I completed my application and live scan fingerprints back in January. Since I sent my application in the mail, do I need to also go on the Breeze website? I've sent my application, live scan prints, fees, picture, applied on pearsonvue, paid the NCLEX fee on pearsonvue, and my school has my transcript request. Am I missing anything? The state I live in has a really simple licensure process so I just want to ensure I'm not overlooking anything.

I am super stressed about all of this. I FINALLY got ahold of someone at the CA BON by calling right when they opened, but they hung up on me when I was mid-sentence.

Hey all! I applied as well to all three hospitals. Hope we hear back soon! I am from out of state as well and have the same questions as 'onajourney' So if anyone knows a lot of about applying for a CA license please share!

Has anyone heard anything yet? I was reading the thread from a previous Sharp cohort and it took about 12 days from the end of the application period to when people's statuses began to change. The suspense is killing me.
