I noticed that there wasn't any threads about the New Grad RN 2017 program at Sharp in San Diego. It would be great to see where everyone is in the application process and to see if anyone has been called for an interview yet?
Currently, my status is "Under Consideration- Updated: October 17, 2016". Did anyone hear back for an interview yet? What units/locations did everyone apply to?
I applied to the NICU at Mary Birch and the SICU at Grossmont.
I'm glad someone finally started a thread for this go 'round. All I have seen is the same status you guys have seen with the same date. Nada. What a terrible time to be sorting through applications though! Right along with the holidays. Yuck. Plus it's sicky season...they're probably busy. I have high hopes for myself and my "credentials" and how fitting I seemed on paper, so I'm just telling myself, "Self, hundreds upon hundreds of people applied...give them time." haha
Hi everyone. My status still hasn't changed. I received an email a week or so ago basically saying thank you for applying for Sharp Memorial's New Grad Program scheduled to begin March 2017... etc. I chose the Sharp Memorial Program that starts in March as my second choice when applying. Unfortunately I am assuming that this means I did not make the cut for my first choice, which is supposed to begin in Jan 2017. Did anyone else receive an email like this?
My interview is next week, will keep people updated! I know that my friends who applied to positions at Memorial and Grossmont and Chula haven't heard yet so hang on tight everyone! The management is probably busy with the Sharp Union Negotiations and the like.
