Sharp New Grad RN Program Spring 2020

Hey just wanted to get a forum going for anyone who just applied to the Sharp new grad RN program last week. Good luck to everyone!

I applied to med sure pcu at chula and chose surgical ICU at memorial as my second option. Someone mentioned that the SICU is closed and they received emails for choosing a second option, is this true?

@nursevee I have not heard anything and had the same status change on Nov. 5 with the self-identify email. Keeping my fingers crossed for us.

I applied to Sharp Memorial PCU and was under hiring department review on November 10th. Yesterday, I received rejection e mail.

Hi, to all that have received emails and news about moving forward in the process, were you all internal applicants?

I'm external applicant, preff'd ICU as 1 and PCU as 2, and my application stills says under consideration as of Oct 16th and no news or email yet. Thanks!

@illyminati I received the same email yesterday. The link didn't work for me as well, but as someone else mentioned, there is no action required. My application was reviewed and my status is still "under consideration". Good luck!

Hello everyone! I'm an internal applicant at Sharp Memorial. My application was reviewed on 11/10, status is still "under consideration". Yesterday I also received an email to "self-identify", but the link doesn't work. Good luck everyone!

I received a rejection email for SMC for Med/Surg (Acute Care) about half an hour ago. However, I haven't heard anything from SCV yet so there's still a chance.

Still no email for me but I checked my status this am and I am still under consideration with an updated date as of 11/14. Staying positive. I applied to SMH as an external candidate.
