Sharp New Grad Residency Spring 2024

Applications open in October for Spring 2024

I got an email from sharp saying my application was inactive and I told them about an error on my first app and made sure to use the second email I provided . They made me choose a location which is SHARP CORONADO ACUTE AND PROGRESSIVE CARE UNIT- FT/ nights. 
 

anyone had similar location ?

Both my friend and I have gotten calls for interviews. Mine is at Grossmont and hers is at Memorial.

what unit if you don't mind me asking? Cause I know some units in Grossmont have reached out

Yes ! I got a call this past Monday, she did a mini interview and asked my availability next week for an interview

Has anyone else experienced their application going from specific job title back to the generic job application title? I was told I'm still being reviewed but it just seems that I'm not and would appreciate just being told no instead of being led on.

Hi guys, anyone get anything for L&D? I don't want to call and ask anyone at SHARP. It still shows green, under consideration and with the specific unit info but I haven't received a call for an interview! I'm trying to be patient but it's hard because alot of other new grad positions are opening up and I've heard back from them.

I haven't heard anything from L&D and mine still shows under consideration. I remember that in the webinar they said that they would "go dormant" in November so I think the people who heard from units in November were just lucky, and other units are going to contact us later in December.

Got a call today for an interview for the ED at Grossmont!

Just got an email from the new grad RN recruiter at Sharp saying I have not been selected for my first two choices, but since they were specialty units that receive a high number of candidates they wanted to offer me another choice from other units that are still accepting applicants. So it looks like I am now applying for a position with the Neuroscience PCU, which is still awesome, so fingers remain crossed! 

Congratulations to everyone who landed their first or second choice!
