Sharp New Grad Residency October 2017

Starting a thread for those of us who applied at Sharp for October 2017. I applied for ER at SMH and SGH. Good luck everyone!

I put my interest strictly for Sharp Grossmont, so I hope that I still have a chance. I didn't get an email yet. This is all so nerve wrecking.

I haven't heard back from sharp memorial or sharp mary birch! hopefully we'll hear something soon..

I got an email with an invitation to self-identify, but the link included didn't work and the email said it's optional and doesn't affect the candidacy one way or the other so I don't think I'm going to do it. Did anyone else get this email/have this problem with the link?

I also got the email and cannot use the link.

My online status says it was updated on July 6th which is the first change I've had since submitted the application. Although the actual status didn't change-it still says "Under Consideration." I don't think it means anything and I was actually surprised to see it updated at all. I didn't get any email though!

I received the email from Memorial in which we prioritized units, but have not received anything since. I did not receive an invitation to identify. My last status update is also marked as July 6th and "under consideration". The anticipation is real!

Looks like everyone is still in the same boat! I received the email from Sharp Memorial about preferencing units, but haven't heard from grossmont (where I also applied). Hope we hear back soon! Good luck to everyone! Post if you hear something (:

I got hired last cohort. If you get an email asking you to pick your top unit choices that means you have been selected for an interview! The way they did it last time was I got an email three weeks after applying asking me to pick my top two med surg units at sharp memorial and then they emailed me back with my interview date and I was offered the job two days later. Good luck everyone!!

I applied to the last cohort as well, and the application process was a little different this go round. So hopefully your right and that is what the email indicates! How long did it take them to give you an interview date? The preferences were due on the 5th and I still haven't heard anything.

Hi everyone!

Has anyone heard back from the Postpartum Unit at Chula Vista or the L&D Unit at Mary Birch? My status also says "under consideration" (since June 28th) but I am not sure if that is the same for everyone or if by now it would change to "no longer under consideration"?
