Starting a thread for those of us who applied at Sharp for October 2017. I applied for ER at SMH and SGH. Good luck everyone!

no email :/ the one's getting emails, what unit did you apply for and what did the email say?

It stated that our application had been received and to pick our top four utis from a list. The list is very detailed and it describes each unit very well. I picked observation, Tele, med-surg, and PCU medical

Dang, I didn't get the email either. Do you know if it included ER?

No ER. It seemed specific to the Med-Surg/PCU rotation at Sharp Memorial so if you didn't apply for that one then it would make sense that you didn't get the email! It's still so early on in this application process, I don't think anyone should get discouraged (or too excited for that matter haha)

No ER. The units are: Short Stay Observation, Surgical Oncology, Telemetry Acute Care, Orthopedics UnitTrauma/Neuro, Medical –Surgical Unit, Transplant, Surgical Acute Care, PCU Surgical, PCU Medical, and Rehabilitation Acute Care Unit

Hello- Does any of you is from San Francisco? Is any of you bilingual (Spanish/English)? I did get the email from the recruiter, however, is to early in the game to know for sure. Hang in there, and good luck!

Has anyone heard of them doing this unit ranking before? Do they send our full application to the units we select and then those unit directors decide who they interview? I'm sure you guys know as much as I do, but I didn't know if there were any internals or someone that talked to HR about the process?
