It would be cheaper to rent if I'm only using it for one semester but I wanted to know whether it's one of those books you use throughout nursing school. If so, then I would just have to buy it.

My program includes a pharmacology class each semester so obviously I've bought mine, but there's nothing in it that I can't find online or in a drug book or sites/free apps like lexicomp or epocrates. But look at your pharm books reviews, maybe it's worth buying and referencing.
Yea I think that's a good idea, I'm going to look over the book and see if its worth buying. Also going to check out those apps. Thanks!!

Definitely rent it. I bought all my books for nursing school that cost me $700 this semester. Guess how many I opened so far? None. All my professors like teaching off the power point's in their own style.
I regret buying my books.
$700 and you didn't use them at all? I'd be pissed!!!

I only have had one professor where I didn't need to open the book, as he was the Picasso of power point's. Lately, I have had a few professors who use a lot of fluff and filler in their power points, so reading or looking at the book is needed.

I bought mine and I have barely used it, however, I am sure I will use it more in the next couple classes I have. Pharm is apart of each class outside of the intro to Pharm we already had last fall. See how it works with your program.
