I am taking my psb test next month to apply to their program. Any current, past, or future students?
Actually I was told the opposite and did just fine not answering all the questions.
I've been told that the test is not scored based on how many you get right or wrong, but how many you got right out of how many you answer. You need a raw score of 240 and no less than 60th percentile in any subject area.
Honestly I left alot of the test blank and had a very good raw score and 90+ percentile in all areas. I would defintely try to answer as many as possible (i'd go through first and answer all the ones you do know) but I would NOT go through and guess or randomly fill in bubbles for ones you didn't answer.
I'm pretty sure there are 305 questions, you need to answer 240 correctly to be considered.
As far as studying goes, it really depends on what classes you have had recently. I didn't study and did fine, but all of my biology, nutrition etc has been taken very recently. Also, I'd take the test as early as possible, so in case you tank it or do bad in one area, you have plenty of time to remediate and retest.
