SFSU Fall 2022

Hi all I have not seen a forum for SFSU transfer BSN program

Its a long shot since my stats arent competitive:

Overall GPA:3.919

Science GPA: 3.875 (1 B in Chem)

TEAS:86%

Not Local

1 year CNA experience

I still haven’t heard back yet and I know our stats were pretty similar ? congrats on east bay though you’ll do great!!

Congrats! I actually got rejected by them probably bc I didn't a have good enough TEAS score the first time around and fewer hours.

4.0 GPA, 92.7 TEAS, 136 hospital volunteer hours. I'm a little surprised that I got in considering I had so little experience and wasn't bilingual or anything

OMG congrats ! I got waitlisted and they said they only accepted 20 ppl so your really one of the top candidates LOL congrats congrats !!

I guess they are really looking into how high the TEAS and GPA is bc my were lower. Especially since interviews were cancelled.

Wait only 20 people for the fall cohort?! That is so small OMG !

Did everyone receive an email regarding if they got denied/accepted? I didn’t receive anything and I’m a current SFSU student.

I haven’t gotten any email saying whether I got accepted or denied yet as well which is strange

Are you a current SFSU student as well? Also, did you receive any update with your application while waiting for decisions? I haven’t even gotten an update that my application was under review like everyone else did back in February.

No I’m a pre nursing student at a CC! the only communication I got from them was being admitted to my alternative major first and said I would hear back for nursing sometime in April. But I haven’t gotten any updates as to whether or not they read my application for nursing or if they made a decision yet which is nerve wracking!

I agree it’s super nerve wracking, especially since they announced the waitlist. I tried emailing them today, but I plan on stopping by tomorrow to figure out what’s going on.
