I applied to San Francisco State's Fall 2019 Entry Level MSN cohort, and havent seen a topic on it yet, so thought i'd start one! I havent heard anything back yet, but wanted to get a conversation going.

Hi Guys!

Congrats to everyone who got into this program!

I was just wondering if everyone got the email from the University after responding “Yes” to the document they sent? I’m still waiting and wondering how long it will take for them to send.

I just joined the facebook group and look forward to meeting all of you!

I got an email after I accepted the offer on their student center stating: "Welcome to San Francisco State University! We are delighted that you have accepted your offer of admission to the Nursing program. Please continue to check your email for priority course registration and other campus information".

And then some other stuff about transcripts and stuff. But thats it.

I did call today, and they said we will be getting emails about Orientation, immunizations, and financial aid, and all that kind of stuff soonish, but will be getting it to our SFSU emails. So make sure to get onto those whenever you can because I think most of our info will be given through that.

Hi all!! Does anyone know what the start date for classes would be for this program? I think it's probably in August, but I can't seem to find the official start date. Thank you!

It's likely the nursing program begins on the first day of Fall semester for the university, which is Aug 26. The 2019-2020 academic calendar can be found on the SFSU website.

Does anyone know what the exact difference is between the SFSU ELM-Accelerated & the ELMSN? Based on the web site, I different application deadlines, and that's about it. Thanks

The differences are that the Accelerated program finishes 6 months earlier and costs about $40K more. Curriculum is exactly the same.

Also, you do not get summers off in the accelerated one as you do in the regular one. This is why the accelerated one is quicker.

Hello current ELMSN students. I was aceepted into SFSU's incoming ELMSN class for Fall 2020. I wanted to ask how SFSU has handled your curriculum/clinicals due to COVID 19? I am not getting any responses from them yet so I want to see how they are handling students that are already in the program! I am having a lot of anxiety about my future so please if you have any advice or info at all that would really help. Please reply with your email so I can email you directly or if you can write directly in the thread, that would be great! Thank you
