Hello! I haven't seen a thread for the SFSU ELM-A program for the Spring 2019 cohort yet. Please feel free to share any information, updates, general stats, etc. regarding their application to this program! :)

Good to know I'm not the only one constantly checking! As for employment afterwards, I don't think it will restrict your field if you decide later that isn't what you want to do. Even if your master's coursework is in a particular concentration, you'll still have your RN license and BSN so I'm sure you can explore your options.

Anxiously waiting too. I have already been accepted into Hopkins (declined) and Rush (had to put deposit down), SFSU let you know so late when semester starts in January . Id rather go to SFSU for cheaper tuition costs. Has anybody heard reviews of SFSU nursing program, is it any good?

I've heard the program is actually really good!

@michodell Can you elaborate? I'm curious about professors/clinical sites etc Ive heard horror stories of state schools in general of not being able to get classes you need but not sure if thats just an undergrad problem.

I also applied for peds. Hopefully we hear from them tomorrow!

Thank goodness I'm not the only one anxiously checking my email every second. I called the school today and they said interview invitations should be sent out by the end of this week, so that is tomorrow! The waiting game is so difficult! Congratulations to everybody who got in to other places, that is wonderful!

Hi everyone, glad to have somewhere to relate to the anxiety while waiting. Haven't received any emails yet. @tori24, same! My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I saw that email until I realized it wasn't a real update. lol

SF state is so slow and not considerate of students who need to travel for interviews. So last minute!
