SFSU BSN Spring 2024

Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for SFSU's BSN. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process. 

Just called again and was told they finished their first round of eliminations at sf state. But rooting for all of those that are still in the process of nursing!

How do I know if I was eliminated? Does it mean anyone who received that email are eliminated?

Hi, Does this mean that the people who got accepted to alternate major option were rejected?

Yes those who are eliminated are unfortunately rejected. But you can always try again at a later semester. 

If you check at under sfsu state application portal there should be "application status." If that was changed to your alternative then you were not considered. There was an email also sent out saying you were admitted into the alternative major.

For future reference to anyone who's applying, here were my stats:

3.75 prereq GPA
90.7 TEAS
CNA License
100 hours of volunteer experience

I got rejected, but good luck to everyone else! (:

Has anyone emailed them again? I emailed them last week to see if there was an update to when it would be released and I never got a response.

they responded to me. "While there is no specific date set yet, you should receive news by Thanksgiving.”
