Hey everyone! I wanted to start the thread for the Spring 2024 applicants for SFSU's BSN. It's pretty early but it might be helpful to be able to talk to each other during the application process.

Good luck! SFSU is really unclear about how it selects its applicants. They list all the things that get you points, but how many points ? Only they know. I think if you have a 4.0 GPA and work experince you probably have a good chance ? Ill be applying with a 4.0, 94 TEAS but no or minimal work experience

Hey quick question guys, I've taken my TEAS three times when I applied to their program back in 2021. Does anyone know if I apply for this year, if I'm allowed to take it 3 more times again for this application cycle? I know a few school allow you to take it 3 times yearly.

On their website, it only says "ATI TEAS Score 78 or higher within three attempts." You should definitely contact the SFSU Nursing School about this.
I have a question. For those who started working on the NursingCAS, what did you guys put for achievements and experiences under the "supporting information" category?

I just left those blank, because the last part of the app has a SFSU-specific section to upload work related experience, certs, etc.

Does anyone know if out of state students can apply?

I think so but ask them directly at [email protected]
I emailed them tonight and is waiting to hear back but saw on their website that you must be a CA resident or eligible for in-state tuition but wasn't sure what "eligible for in-state" meant because only residents can be eligible for in-state tuition LOL so they both are the same thing

Hi everyone I applied with a 79 TEAS and 4.0 GPA and work experience. Not sure if anyone has ever gotten in with such a low TEAS score.
