SFSU BSN Fall 2023

Hi! Did you hear back from SFSU when you emailed them? And did your status changed? Mine is the same as yours updated on 1/18 saying application still under review by the impacted major. Wondering if I should email them as well.

Hi Andrea,

My To Do List just has "You're all caught up!” in the comment section. I'm not too sure if their comments under the application status mean much, but I think emailing would be a good idea!

Hey Andrea,

So I did email them and they said that admissions is waiting on the decision from the Nursing Dept and that nothing was needed on my part, I included in my email that I haven't had to send in transcripts or anything. That was their response to that. Also, it still says the same message and the update date is still the same, 01/18. I don't want to assume the worst and think I might've gotten rejected because I think if I was maybe I would've heard back already. But IDK, I guess I still have to wait and see until I officially get an email saying that I didn't get in.

Sorry for continuing to ask you this LOL but before you sent your transcripts in, was it on your To-Do list for you to forward them to SFSU as well as your test scores? Because I think that at least for Andrea and I, we haven't had anything pop up on our To-Do list after submitting our apps.

Hi everyone, have you done your research about the program at SFSU? If you were accepted to all CSUs where would you attend? Why did you choose SFSU?

I can't personally be 100% certain myself about how the program learning circle is yet, but coming from my seniors who did manage to get into previous cycles, they said SFSU is a hard but good program to learn in, you just have to put in the work. I also visited the campus myself before and Burk Hall where the nursing department is seems nice. I may recommend to try and go visit the campus yourself if you can, or take a virtual tour to get to know how the environment feels.

Did you hear anything from SFSU yet? Or just are you just curious?

Also, not to sound creepy LOL, but I checked out your profile and saw you're debating between SJSU and SFSU correct? SJSU is probably also a good program, but I have gone to info meetings for SJSU myself, and personally I didn't like the vibe the staff gave off. It's a reason why I myself didn't apply there (just in my opinion!). The people there at SFSU may be very tight lipped with giving information, but when I went on discover day honestly everyone there was really nice in my opinion.

Oh, also also, if you plan to do in housing like dorms as a transfer student I recommend applying for housing right away! Applications are open!
