SFSU ABSN 2022

Hello! I haven't seen a thread for sfsu's ABSN 2022 yet so figured I start one.

Can someone please clarify if we need to do the supplemental application on nursingcas? It says that its due on Jan. 15th, but when I reached out to sfsu's nursing department, they told me it is not needed. Have others heard the same as well?

I'm so sorry! Honestly, I wish their instructions were a lot clearer! A lot of the "resourceful links" on their website also didn't work for me (I don't know if this happened to anyone else). Maybe try and see if you can get a refund?

Wait we have to submit official transcripts by the deadline (Jan 15th)??? 

The last time I asked they told me not to send them UNLESS they request it... I'm so confused.......

Confirmed today that ABSN applicants do not need to complete this portion! I also asked about sending a second application for a different term if anyone else is wondering (see attached)!

To be honest, I'm not sure if getting a refund is possible! I had my transcripts sent and processed by NursingCAS.

I think my app will also be automatically rejected because I didn't send in my official transcripts yet. I thought it was only if they requested for them after receiving the NursingCAS application.

To whom did you send your official transcripts? 

I asked division of graduate studies about official transcripts and this is what they told me "Students are only required to submit official transcripts after an official admission acceptance into the intended program. "

Now I'm even more confused and nervous!!

I also wasn't sure about sending transcripts because I also read on the application that they were only needed if they were "requested". I asked them for clarification and this is what they told me

I submitted them to SFSU. However, if they e-mailed you that they're only required after official admission then there could honestly be a mixup!

This is such a mess ;__; I had emailed them before about filling out the transcripts part on NursingCAS, and the person who replied didn't even tell me the app wasn't required. 

Anyways, I just emailed them asking for an extension on official transcripts since I wasn't aware that they were due on Saturday.

I hope so too! I received an automatic reply saying that it might take up to 5 business days due to an influx of requests/emails after the holidays.

Hi! It should be under the Summer 2022 programs! I think there is a link that can redirect you to that term when you open up the Cal State App login.

Hi All,

I thought official transcripts weren't due unless asked for. I didn't send mine in .I uploaded unofficial and I can send them in now. I wonder if it's to late. Their instructions are poorly written.
