Hey ! Is anybody else applying to SFSU's A-ELMSN program for Spring 2017?
I have and applied for women's health... hope we can all go through this process together. Power in numbers!
I believe the classes that you took in your undergrad would likely fulfill those pre-reqs, and there's no expiration on communication/english classes. It's probably best to shoot the SFSU school of nursing an e-mail to verify if your classes match up. Best of luck!
Hi there,
While I know this is an old post, I am hopeful you may come back to answer !
I am curious how far down along were you on the waitlist when you were bumped from waitlist to admission offer?
I applied for the Spring 2018 cycle and was waitlisted. Curious to see if I have a chance still as SFSU is my top choice.
Thank you so much I appreciated it.
Hello!
I was number 3 on the wait list. I think I called or emailed the school of nursing office weekly to see if I had been bumped up the list (persistent and annoying, I'm sure). I didn't find out until early December that I had been accepted. I was so anxious and checked my email every moment like a crazy person, it really was a terrible time of waiting around. I wish you the best and try to keep your hopes up!

Wow you replied ! I appreciate you, and makes me feel better about my position on the waitlist.
Thank you and happy holidays !

Hey all. Your string of comments were very informative. I'm a mid-career changer (i.e. going back to school full-time) and will be pursuing nursing. I graduated college in 1999 with a Biochemistry degree from a UC. Would any of you know whether the prerequisites for Oral Communication, Critical Thinking, and Written Communication can be satisfied by BS degree? I am in the pre-reqs phase spending the next 12 months gathering them all and taking my GRE - for a Spring 2019 entry. Any tips and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Congrats to those of you who are now in the program!
