SF State/Sequoia ABSN Fall 2016

hi all! I know this is early but I wanted to begin a thread for those applying to the SF State/Sequoia program! The app isn't due until next month but i thought id get one started as I am already anxious! :)

Hey Jdeba, this is how I was able to accept admission to SFSU...

Logged in using my Student ID.. in the top right corner of the homepage is a purple button, "Profile." Click on that.

Next, under the Announcement headline is a button, "Admission Status Details," which should bring you to the area where you'll actually accept admission. Scroll down, you should see a hyperlink at the bottom of that page that says "ACCEPT/DECLINE." Click on that, and the next few steps should be fairly straightforward.

hmm thats so weird! so when i click on profile and then admission status details; it just takes me to the normal student center homepage.. I don't see any links to click on accept/decline :( I don't know why it isn't working for me!

Hmm. That's strange! I just checked it again and it's working for me on Google Chrome.. is that what you're using? If so, try quitting out of your browser completely and/or clearing the cache (deleting history, cookies, etc etc) and try again.

Yes, check your browses and clear your cookies. But is seems like something is amiss with the Graduate School admissions part. I think you have to try calling them and ask what is going on.

Ya I just tried it on chrome too its not working :( It still just takes me to the student center homepage. I wonder if its because there is financial aid thing on my to-do list? or are you a 2nd bacc student? if you aren't maybe thats why? Im scared lol!

I'm not a second bacc student but another student on the Facebook Page is. You might want to message her.

I'm a transfer student so in the same boat as you as far as having to accept admission from the school itself... I'm almost 99% sure that it's an issue with your computer/browser and not with SF State. Is there another computer you can try it on?? If you have internet explorer or safari, try it on those just for kicks!

Hello All,

I just found out that I've been accepted to the program and will start in Fall '16. Looking forward to it. I know they'll be sending out more info through the next couple of months, but by chance, would anyone happen to know what the day-to-day schedule is like (i.e., start and end time, days of the week?) Just trying to see if I can plan ahead regarding care for my daughter and so forth.

Just search and you should find. ;)
