Hey guys, I thought Id start a thread for the SFSU BSN program since I havent found one yet. I should be submitting everything this upcoming week.

I don’t think you guys have much to worry about honestly. Just look up common nursing school interview questions and the questions they asked were on there. And remember to have stories to back up your assertions if possible!

Thank you! I hope I’m not being overly confident about how I did ? but I felt like I had decent answers and they seemed to respond well ??‍♀️ Guess we’ll find out later this week or next week to see how I did ?

As long you answered the questions as best you can, I think you'll be fine! I'm awful when it comes to interviews so I'm nervous about it haha, but at the same time, I can't wait for it to be over.

Did anyone get an email after confirming their interview? I have an interview for Thursday, Nov. 5 at 3PM and I see someone above who also has the same time. I didn’t get an email after confirming my interview so I’m worried they didn’t see my email and withdrew my application ?

No one got an interview confirming we confirmed, so don't worry about that. They might have gave two people the same time accidentally?

I am so sorry for the confusion, I thought mine was at 3PM but its actually at 3:30PM so you are good haha. Sorry again!!

Girl I feel you, my interview is tomorrow and I have been feeling like I am going to throw up ugh.. I can't wait for it to be over. 

Believe me when I say that the interview is actually pretty straightforward and easy! I was beyond stressed and about to throw up/pass out/die of a heart attack (or a combination of the 3) as well, but honestly after I got my first question that stress kind of melted away and I was able to have a nice conversation with everyone ☺️! They were, in my experience at least, very friendly, which helped as well. They just want to get to know YOU. I can’t share the questions they asked, but like I said earlier, if you study the questions on a few nursing school interview question websites and have detailed answered for them, then you’re honestly set. From there, just remember to smile and highlight your best qualities and moments! You got this!

I had mine too and it definitely went by too fast. The questions that were asked caught me off guard because it wasn't a question that I had prepared myself for, so I wasn't able to articulate myself as well as I'd hoped.

Thank you for sharing. I have my interview at 11:40 today. I know you cant share the exact question but was your question more critical thinking question or was it more tell me about yourself question? Im so nervous

It was more about yourself question, but it was a question I've never thought about or actually had to deal with, so that's probably why it caught me off guard, along with being nervous the whole time haha.
