SF State BSN Spring 2021

Hey guys, I thought Id start a thread for the SFSU BSN program since I havent found one yet. I should be submitting everything this upcoming week.

I had a 3.8, 91% TEAS, and 1500 hours of work experience. I also am proficient in Spanish (I'm working on my fluency and worked with Spanish speaking patients at my job) which I know SFSU really likes to see on applications. There's a few other things outside of stats that I know a lot of schools look at when they accept people so I don't think it was solely my stats that got me the interview. Not sure if they've finished sending the emails out yet either so don't give up hope! Best of luck!!

Yeah I read somewhere that they send them out in waves so I’m really hoping that I still have a chance! Thank you for sharing and CONGRATS that’s amazing!

Got an acceptance from the school but haven’t heard anything from the actual program..

Anybody else get an invitation for interviews yet?? I E-mailed the school to ask if they are done sending them out but I have not heard anything back yet

Hey guys just found this thread. My stats are TEAS: 86.6 GPA 3.9 200+ hours as a CNA and basic Vietnamese. I am also anxiously waiting for an interview invite >_<. A friend of mine already got his invite so I just feel stressed and anxious all day long. I hope we all get ours soon and best of luck to everyone.

I still didn't get anything yet. But I am still staying positive right now. From the last year thread I saw that they didn't send everything out in one day.

No worries his stats are TEAS 92%, GPA is ~3.7-8?, CNA but no work experience and he is active in a few volunteering clubs on campus. Makes me wish I tried harder on the TEAS but test taking isn't one of my strengths ?

Hey have they email you anything back yet? I have been refreshing my email every hour and this heat isn't helping me with my anxiety either LOL.

No they haven't which is odd. Normally when I E-mail the nursing dept they get back to me within the same day at least. You should try E-mailing! LOL I just asked if they are done sending out invites or not!

I just got an E-mail from the school saying that they are sending out E-mail invitations for the rest of the month so we still have a chance!

I just got the email invitation for interview from SF State just now so check your emails!
