Seton Healthcare Winter 2012 Cohort XVI

Hello all! Decided to start a new thread based on the upcoming winter cohort! Feel free to keep us posted on your status!!

Last week, My status was routed for all the hospitals that I applied to, so at this point, I'm just waiting for some feedback from Seton.

I've been a little concerned about the "Your application has been approved" emails I've received about 3 times now, even though I completed the process the day i initially received it. Any clarification?

No. Mine bas been routed since Oct 4.

Had an interview at Seton Williamson. out of 300 people that applied, they chose 15 people to interview and are choosing 5 out of those 15 to hire.

Still haven't heard anything and I am getting anxious over here! I have been "routed" for a while now.

For everyone that is still routed... Are you from Texas or out of state?

Ohhhh and did anyone attend the open house they had last month? How did that go in terms of meeting the managers and landing an interview?

I interviewed for a trauma med-surg unit.

I attended the open house. You are able to personally put your resume in the hands of each manager, but there are also stacks and stacks of resumes from other people who are attending the open house as well.

It was pretty impersonal in my opinion, but the only interview I got was from a manager who received my resume at the open house that day. So i guess it does help.

Has anyone been afford a position? I had an interview at the beginning of December and they asked me to shadow which I did the Monday before Christmas. I am just wondering when I will hear from them.
