Sept 2016 RPN Programs

World Canada CA Programs

Hello everyone!

This is my first post. I was curious who has applied for September 2016? What schools you applied to? HOAE experience? Also wanted to know if anyone knows expected avg cutoffs for sept? I've applied to Mohawk, Fanshawe, Algonquin, Niagara, and Conestoga. Have the obvious nerves about if my grades and HOAE grades are high enough. It would be nice to know others are freaking out too! :)

Has anyone applied to the RPN at Conestoga?? I am freaking out cause I haven't heard if I have gotten in. Just wondering if anyone else has heard anything?

Has anyone heard anything from the Conestoga RPN yet? I'm so nervous, I haven't heard anything and I thought I'd find out today. Please let me know if anyone has gotten their acceptance yet:)

I applied at Conestoga too! Anybody know when Mohawk, Fanshawe or Niagara starts sending their offers out? This waiting may kill me lol so intense...:banghead:

Have you heard anything from Conestoga? I haven't seen anything about any of the programs sending out offers yet! But friends in other programs got theirs today.... This is killing me!!

No I haven't heard about anyone getting offers for RPN but know lots of people who got offers for other programs. Literally torture!

Have your written HOAE? I write mine the 4th

I applied to George Brown, Fanshawe, Humber, Mohawk and Conestoga. Nothing yet!! Good luck guys.

I wrote the HOAE on Jan 12th and I'm writing the AC-HPAT for Algonquin tomorrow.

Thanks makayla_xox! Good luck to you too, keep us posted.

Conestoga does start sending out early acceptances February 1st, generally to the applicants with the highest of marks. They will continue to roll them out from now until May, then wait list offers will start.

Howdy all,

I have applied to Mohawk and Sheridan (as a back up) for September 2016. Wrote my HOAE on January 28th at Mohawk and the following are my results:

HOAE - Academic Aptitude

61/75

HOAE - Information in the Natural Sciences

50/60

HOAE - Reading Comprehension

27/35

HOAE - Spelling

38/45

HOAE - Vocational Adjustment Index

78/90
If my math is correct, this equates to an 83% pass which I'm very happy with. I was terrified going into the exam. I found the exam to be ok, but I had also just finished my OSSD by way of adult upgrading, so a lot of it was very fresh in my mind which I am sure helped a lot.

Mohawk said that the results would not be available for a couple of weeks, but I got mine in a day or two. For anyone that is really curious about their results, have a look on your OCAS dashboard under the heading "experience", they show there that you have written the HOAE and will display your raw scores before they show up on your college application. Obviously, the percentile scores won't show up until everyone has written the exam for these streams.

I have read the same as others in this thread, that Mohawk and Sheridan at least, start sending out offers after February 1st so I will be checking daily lol.

Nice to kinda meet you all and good luck!

Chris.

I applied to Conestoga Mohawk and Fanshawe college. I literally just did my hoae test tonight. I don't want to scare anyone but I found it hard and I've been a Psw for 5 years and also have previous diplomas within health field. I did very well within my courses as well. I'll find out tomorrow evening what my scores were but I hate to be negative but I don't think I did well enough or well at all! 😢😐😯😦. I'm very nervous!
