Sentara BSN 2015

Anyone out here applying or reapplying for the 2015?! I thought I'd just go ahead and get this thread started :)

Yea me too. When I went to test yesterday, there were 3 other females applying to sentara and taking the teas.

I received my score and I'm not happy with it. I got a 65 so idk if I Should still apply. My grades are good but my score isn't. Smh!

That sucks! I don't know what I would do. Is there a maximum amount of times you can apply? I haven't looked at that.

No there's no max. They only take apps once a year for the program anyways. But they let u retake the teas twice but it's already too late to sign up for another retake. I think I'll call Monday and speak to the nursing advisor for her opinion.

Probably your best bet. They are pretty helpful and hopefully they will tell you to apply anyway.

Are you finished with all your prereqs? I'm still working on three of them, but I will be finished by January.

Yea you're right but I'm done with all of my prereqs. I have nothing else to take, thank god! Lol

I still have micro, history and public speaking. When I talked to the advisor she made it seem like that wasn't a big deal and I should still apply. I think that's what will hurt me. Guess we'll see.

No that's definitely not going to hurt you, even though it's required for the program. They only look at those 6 main prereqs when determining the gpa. So if you're grades for those 6 classes good, then u should be in good shape.
