Cool! If you don't mind me asking what are your grades/gap looking like? I have a 3.4 gpa and have completed everything (including microbio +lab.). I'm just starting to get ready for my TEAS V now and have heard that Sentara puts a large emphasis on that score. Hoping for the best,[/quote']Right now I have a 3.5 GPA. Hoping to pull it up after this semester. I plan on taking Micro in the summer and Public Speaking then I will be done with the requirements.
Errgh.... just a vent, but I hate the tunnels and traffic here! I gave myself an hour to get from Portsmouth to Greenbriar, there must have been an accident or something and I got turned around on Frederick (at the brand spankin new Chick Fil A) and had to go the LONG way. So I finally get there and walk into the building at 6:02 pm. They wouldn't let me go in, it was after 6pm. I don't fault the school, I just hate the traffic here!!!!
Hey! I'm new to this site.... just wondering if this would seem acceptable for the program...
TEAS V: 87.3
GPA: 3.90
I am so nervous about this. It's tearing me apart!! I plan on calling tomorrow and hopefully speaking to someone....
My concern is that I scored REALLY low on the math for the TEAS (I ran out of time and just clicked answers!!!), but 91-96% for all other subjects. Hence, my score was pulled way down. Do they look @ individual scores or just the composite? The report put me in the 98th percentile, overall, for the program. So I'm praying it's just GPA and overall score, and that I did good enough. I dont have another $110 for the test!
Also, does anyone know how many students they accept?
Like many pre-nursing students, my life is pretty much dependent on acceptance @ this point. Agh! I really dont like not knowing. Any advice/info would be much appreciated. Whatever I find out from the call, I'll post here, if it's helpful info for anyone else.
Thanks in advance!
... found out they accept 85 (possibly 85-100) and they look at individual TEAS v score (each subject), but there's not a certain score needed to successfully apply. For comparison, the recruiter said I am a very competitive candidate compared to last year. (Not quite sure if that's something to get excited about)...

Hi I was wondering if anyone will be applying for the spring 2014 semester?
