Hello everyone,
I am applying to the BSN program at Sentara for the 2019 starting class, is there anyone else out there?
I haven't taken the TEAS yet but will be after my last 2 pre reqs any tips on the TEAS v6 teat that may help ?
Thanks!
Tonja~
Hi everyone! My name is Amanda and I applied for the 2019 program. I have a previous bachelor's degree in Biology from Penn State. My gpa for the 6 classes is 3.5 (thanks to not caring about my first college semester 10 years ago... ugh) and my TEAS score was 82. If accepted I plan to take A&P II at TCC in the fall.
Sentara does factor in a bachelors, I think it boosts your app because you've got evidence of successfully completing a 4 year degree and all the lower level pre-req's are covered. The admissions advisor I've been talking to told me my BS could help make up for my 3.3 lol! Cause I have a 3.9 in my degree concentration courses. Either way, doesn't help my nerves haha!
Your awesome with all this info !! I did hear that they look at all that but never really looked more into because I don't have my bachelors, I only finished all the classes. That is awesome !!!!!! I seriously have a feeling we will all see each other in January í ½í¸˜í ½í¸˜

Omgeee welcome to the group !!!!! More and more people are coming out lol !! Your gpa and teas look great !!! And you have a degree that's awesome !!! I know I wish they just took all the science pre reqs.
Hi guys, my name is Alexandra and I am apart of the BSN class of 2020. If y'all have any questions feel free to ask. Last year we had a acceptance/denial letter delay until July 7th so it was definitely a stressful couple of weeks! Good luck
Hi Alexandra!! We are def on edge I remember your allnurse forum and saw the huge delay!! I think someone had a question about when classes are ? Such as are they M-F and all day ? Not sure but I saw that question somewhere lol. I feel like I will have so many questions if I am accepted
I have a 3.2 gpa and 78 on my teas. It had been so long since I've taken science courses And I missed my second chance to attempt the teas bc the schedule was full. I didn't get NSU last year bc my HESI was just below what they accepted. Also I'm thinking MCI if I don't make it into sentara.

Hey there!!! I had a question about the schedule - what should we expect our week to look like? I have been all over the website and it says a lot of people have been successful with keeping a job as well, which is something I will likely have to do.

A friend of mine had another question if you can remember from last year do you remember the actual time stamp of when you received your email ?
Thank you in advance!
