Hi Tonja
Im applying for Jan 2019 start date as well. Im currently taking some prerequisites then I have chem and AandP2 left for spring. I have taken the teas 6 but I did take the one ECPI offers I think its just an older version. Planning on applying to Tccs program for Jan as well. Then ODU after that if I dont get in to Sentara. Is this your first time applying to a program?

Hey guys! I am also planning to apply at sentara for 2019. I am going to take TEAS on spring break. This semester I enrolled in chemistry 121 at TCC.

I'm going to apply as well! I just applied to tcc for the second time so if I don't make it in I'm applying to sentara. I've done all my prerequisites and I have a college degree. Haven't taken the teas yet. Gonna wait until April when I hear back from tcc

I am also applying for the spring 2019. I'm currently studying for the teas now. I taken the version ecpi has, did great on it , it's just the school is way too expensive.
I plan on applying to TCC's program if I do not get into Sentara program
How did you do on your TEAS?
bowersjc: Have you taken the TEAS yet or just HESi ?
Just the hesi. I'm studying for the teas right now for sentara and Hampton. If I don't get into tcc in April then I'll take the teas. I talked to one of the recruiters at sentara and he said the average score of the teas last cohort was 82%. I've been using the pocket prep app to study. It's just practice tests but I like it because I can use it whenever.
I hope the average is still the same! I'm still studying for the TEAS I am scheduled to take it at sentara in April. What is everyone stats ? Did you hear that sentara breaks the 6 classes up into 2 ?
Do you know how many people they let in? I have 3.0 gpa, all my classes done, and a bachelors degree so hopefully that helps. No healthcare experience but I'm planning to shadow my mom in the NICU before applying. What about you?
I do not know how many people they let in each year, I do believe I saw on other posts from last year how many people they enroll each year. All my classes are complete too, did you apply yet ? My average between the two GPAs that the recruiter from sentara had for me is a 3.705 so I am hoping that is good. I haven't taken the TEAS yet, I actually just emailed the recruiter asking if they consider any healthcare experience because I have it, but that would be amazing if you get to shadow your mom!!! Have you taken the TEAS yet?
