Suck it up - buck up lil camper - you are good enough, you are smart enough and gosh darn it people like you - how can you deprive the thousands of patients whose lives you are about to change of your presence - you love nursing school - it's easy - you love sacrificing all personal life for school - wait until you get your license - this is the best time of your life - you'll look back on this and laugh - nursing school is a funfilled joy ride - being a nurse is the best thing you could ever do with your life - think of the cool cap you can wear for your graduation - shut up and make Florence Nightingale proud - you can do this - and finally
Cry me a river, Sister, then build a bridge....and get the flock over it!!!!
Seriously though - you'll get back into the groove, I promise (at least that's what I keep telling myself!).
I have this problem each time i have a vacation. I don't want to go back with all the stomach aches, and stress, and headaches, and due dates, and and...well you get the drift.
But by the time I get through the first week (as I did today) I'm like, "Bring it on!" Then I'm refocused. I think the problem is just being at home and around family and not having to stress about stuff. Its not realistic unless you plan on being a stay-at-home spouse/parent/etc. If you can afford it great but otherwise, get your butt back to school and GET 'ER DONE!
knock that last little bit out. I'm at the beach right now on vacation(just caught a crab with a flash light and net)...and I start my senior year of nursing school Monday 8 A.M...I know that feeling..oh and I'm used to going to sleep at 8am and waking up at 3pm(I like working nights as an extern)..but I gotta get it done with
