Seminole State Summer 2018

If you've applied for the summer 2018 nursing program at Seminole State or UCF comment below with any updates or stats

I'm not sure. I emailed their Health Science Department and asked for a one-day extension. Still waiting for a response. I finished my AA at Valencia, so I figured I'd apply and see what would happen. I also was on the fence if I should get my ASN first, then get my BSN - just so I could work while in NS. I may just end up taking out a private loan if I'm accepted into the Concurrent though. I'm sure you'll get into Seminole this coming summer, and won't have to have a backup plan!

Good luck to all of you! After reading your stats, I feel a bit worried about mine, but I'm trying not to stress over it as much either and keeping my fingers crossed as well! These are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.2

Prerequisite GPA: 3.3

TEAS: 87.3

I graduated with a BS in Health Science 4 years ago and my GPA took an unfortunate plunge during my earlier college days. Hoping this does not come back to bite me, but like fitnurse120 said, we've made it this far so definitely nothing but positive vibes.

Also hi islandbreeze393! I know that GPA plunge feeling.The same happened to me with my first BS degree, thankfully Seminole doesn't have plus and minus grades so it made my GPA higher than what it was.

Yes, they did! I got an extension until Friday. Concurrent is definitely my first choice, though. I've been one giant, nervous wreck. I just want to get this week over with. My birthday is this weekend, and it will either be awesome - or not so awesome! Lol UGH.... ONE MORE DAY!!!

I'm going to lurk on previous cohort's forums and see what time they received theirs. If I'm not mistaken I think they started getting emailed at 9am

Summer 2017 cohort (well the ones in that replied in the forum) got their emails at like 12:40pm. But someone there also mentioned previous semesters got their's at10/11am so we shall see tomorrow. Fingers crossed for all of us to get in!
