Seminole State College/UCF Concurrent Program Fall2019

Hi all! I haven't seen a forum for the SSC/UCF Fall 2019 program so I thought I would go ahead and make one since the applications are around the corner!

My TEAS score is an 84.7

Overall GPA 3.5

How many of you guys are applying for Fall and what are your stats?? Hopefully we can help each other out and make this nerve-wrecking process a little easier ?

Has anything updated on your myseminole account? I still haven't received anything yet and this point and I know I won't get anything until later today since its already 1am. I just checked my seminole account and have received a financial aid offer for the fall 2019 semester and also checked my status under enrollment. It says my enrollment appointment starts June 25th although I know we probably will not pick our classes until after or on the day of orientation if we get in. Before 12am those items weren't on my seminole account. When I checked my enrollment dates yesterday, it said I didn't have any enrollment times for this semester and it just changed saying my enrollment date for fall, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I’m not sure where to go to look for this. I’m not that familiar with Seminoles page. If i don’t hear anything by late morning, I will probably email my advisor. Let me know if you hear anything.

I just checked all my emails and I still haven't heard anything either. Today will be exactly six weeks. Hopefully something comes out today. I want to email the nursing department or call but it said not to contact them until after the six weeks so I don't want to bother them. I was on Valencia's forum for fall 2019 and I know someone on their got alternate and another person got a rejection because their teas scores wasn't high enough. I also know that the person who got accepted into the part time evening program had a 80 teas scores and mines is higher. I also know that some people accepted into the concurrent program had same teas scores as me. The wait is making me anxious lol. If you login into myseminole, they have all the tabs. Under enrollment and financial aid tabs is where I saw my changes.

I sent my program advisor an email to see whats up

I did get a provisional acceptance letter to the ASN day program yesterday at 430pm. Last semester I didn't receive my denied email till Friday at 12pm.

Oh really? That's kind of a bummer. I know some people got rejection letters yesterday too. So I should be expecting a denied email today?

Do you mind letting us know what his stats were? I think the people who are getting accepted had really high tea scores. Someone on here got alternate and still has a prereq to finish.

Honestly, I have no idea. I was shocked I got a letter yesterday. I really don't know how they do it. I would just keep checking your email though

This was my first time applying to the concurrent program for fall 2019. I have all my prerequisites complete and meet all minimum GPA and TEAS score. I know none of it is necessarily the highest but very average. I was waitlisted by UCF and an alternate by SSC and feeling very down about it. If a spot doesn’t open up for me, it will be a full year that I’ve been out of school. I want to get my life and career started so this is really bumming me out. Any advice from anyone?
