Hey all! Well I'm down to a few days now! :) So much has happened! I have to find the time to juggle it all!
I have my books! I am taking College Mathematics (Until my ACT scores come back), Human Growth and Development, Music Appreciation on MWF and Tues Nights I have A&P I . All I have is 1 binder and dividers and notebook paper. (Highlighters and pens of course) What else do I need to make this school semester a success?

I had to have a different binder for each class. Some classes did binder checks some did not but for the amount of paperwork I had, I had a seperate one for each class. I also needed a flash drive for when I wrote papers. Other than that, you seem good to go.

I'm a note card junkie, but that's just me.
Otherwise, you seem set. You may find out on the first day that you need more stuff- buy it then. I wouldn't get anything else until you know for sure that you need it.

I already have to carry a bunch of books in my bag, pretty much all the time. So, to save on the stuff I have to carry around with me, I have one of these expanding files (takes up less space than a binder):
Five Star® 5-Pocket Expanding File (35176) | MEADith a folder for each subject, I'm on my second semester using it and I loved it for my first semester. Other than that and my books, I keep a few pens (black and red for note-taking) a couple highlighters, a flash drive, and one notebook that I take notes for all of my classes in (scratch paper to the back, class/book notes to the front). I keep all of my notes in the notebook until we finish a section, then those get torn out and put into the folder in the expanding file that goes with that class. Then, when it's time for an exam, I use it all to study (other things are in there besides my own handwritten notes like outlines, the class syllabus, print-outs, if you like to use the Powerpoints, they would be in there). Then after the exam, I put it in a file I keep at home to save for the next big exam (midterm or final). It sounds more complicated than it is when I type it out. It worked great for me this year.

This too. I always have index cards in my bag, when a teacher gives me something like an equation I need to memorize (came in handy for chem), I put it on a card and in a little index card box in my bag, so I know where to find it.

You have everything you need to get started. You can add anything else as you go. Good luck starting your classes!

Get some more binders. A binder or at least a 3 subject notebook for each class always helped me with organization. Note cards are a big help to. But all in all, just wait until you get the syllabi from your professors. You can go from there.
Thanks everyone! I did get a syllabus from my Human Development professor. I will need to purchase scantrons but thats about it. They did tell me that they would let me know what else is needed. I will get more binders ASAP! Thanks again!

I can't live without index cards. Hint: I cut them in half if it's just for vocabulary words or something. Then they last longer and take up less space in my purse. (I carry them with me everywhere so when I have extra time waiting at the doctor's office, waiting to pick up kids, etc I can flip through them a couple times.)
