Seeking Team Manager Position.. or rather offered. What should I ask for salary?

Hello all,

I am not sure what to say when I am asked about salary for the mentioned position. Its for our current office. This job has been open for months.. I am more than qualified and feel that it's my way of helping out our stressed out, poorly managed staff. I know.. join the enemies.. ha ha.

My current annual salary is $83K. I am a full time Case Manager... with 8 + years hospice experience and I have worked as a team manager previously at Vitas... a few years back..

Open to suggestions on requested salary.

It is fair to expect at minimum a 10% raise to assume the position with plans for re-eval and raise in 12 months.

If this is the same company ("O") you have spoken about before, I am surprised you are considering this change.

I am considering this position due to the poor leadership in our office and actually the fact there is NO clinical support due to NO hospice experience by the other manager in charge. She is clueless, is rude, and is demeaning. I'd like to get out from under her radar and work beside her.. she will look like what she is.. Meanwhile, I can help contribute to this horrifically poorly managed environment.

It's my only chance to try to fix something here before I look at other agencies. I have found that most of the BS that has been tossed down our throats if directly from the manager who I'd be working side by side with... she is clueless, our office is suffering and so are our patients.

dang, what state are you in, that's alot higher than what they are paying in Texas!
