Seeking guidance and suggestions

U.S.A. Massachusetts

Hi,

I am hoping to find some guidance about my current situation. I have a BA in Administration of Justice and a MA in Psychology. I have been a Director of Adolescent Treatment facilities for 7 years and in human services for 11. I was laid off last week due to state budget cuts. I am going to apply to an LPN program for September, as the training is covered as an approved training under unemployment funds. I was wondering if anyone could give me information regarding an expedited way to earn my RN given that I already have a BA&MA. I have looked at some many sites my head is swimming.

Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I am trying to make a 5 year plan to revamp my career and I want to make the best decisions possible.

Thanks.

Admissions to RN programs are pretty well set. Many PN students have BA, BS, and Master's degrees. LPN can be completed in one year and then you can get your RN in another year. You will have the benefit of Your LPN license to work.

Best of luck.
