Any ideas? Open to hospitals, nursing homes, and anything else really. No experience.
Thank you in advance.

Most places aren't even hiring new U.S. RN's with no experience. You'll have a hard time finding a job as a new grad with no experience. I personally don't know of any hospitals that will assist with the TN visas. You might want to try to get in contact with local hospitals in the Chicago area and start contacting them one by one to see if any of them will help sponsor you. But being the situation with the U.S. economy it doesn't look promising for foreign new grads as our own new grads can't get hired. What's wrong with Canada? Why don't you want to stay home and gain some experience while waiting for your TN visa to come through. You have that option, I would take it if I were you and work while you're waiting for it. Good Luck
Thank you Achicago nurse - I will do!

There's noone that can sponsor you for a green card visa right now because there are no visas.
It was my understanding that the I-140 could be filed currently, even though retrogression is in effect. The purpose of such an action would be to obtain a priority date.

I140 can be filed and it will give you a PD but otherwise just means you are in the very long queue. Being able to qualify for the TN visa is an advantage for you compared to many others waiting as it will at least give you a chance to work in the US whilst waiting. Many others however do not meet NAFTA requirements and therefore have to either maintain student status in the US or return home and wait
