Hey! I haven't seen a post for second entry applicants for Fall 2022. What has everyone applied for? I applied to:
1) UofT
2) Western
3) Nippising SPP
4) Trent
5) Brock - 4 year

I applied to Western, Mac, UofT, Queens, Nipissing SPP, Trent and I am feeling super nervous. I can't help but think that I am not going to get in anywhere, even though my grades are decent (about 80% in my last 10 credits) and I have solid extra-curriculars. Does anyone know when we should be hearing back for acceptances (or rejections)? I think it's usually around April-May?
Also, I am confused because I am currently a Western student and we don't really use GPA - I have been putting my grades into GPA conversion things online but I keep getting slightly different answers?
Thanks!!
I am very nervous as well and do not know if my GPA is competitive enough. But, at least UofT has a supp application and SPP + Mac look at CASPer. I am not sure how SPP looks at CASPer but I think Mac is 20% CASPer and 80% grades.
Anyways, I believe SPP sends them out in April and U of T sends them starting April until June.
From past forums, it seems UofT sends them out every Friday and you have 2 weeks to accept or decline the offer (so if someone were to decline, they can give the offer to someone else). I think waitlist people hear back in June. Someone, please correct me if I am wrong about when they hand out admissions.
For the GPA - my school is the same we go off a 10.0 scale so trying to convert my grades and "guess my average" has been hard LOL. But this uoft one has been helpful:
https://gpacalc.utoronto.ca/calculator/#/
*reminder for uoft if you use that: 0.5 credit = course from sept-dec or jan-April*
I hope this helps ?

Can confirm UofT tends to send them out every Friday but not always! I got my offer on a Thursday in June last year (not waitlisted) so keep and eye out on other days too.
I can’t confirm when you’d hear back about waitlist though.
Best of luck!

Hey not sure if this helps but I realized this morning there are two application portals: Mosaic and another portal indicated in their emails. I accessed the second one this morning and was able to upload my unofficial transcript there (the status in that portal changed to "received"). Supplementary application is still "awaiting" ("required" on Mosaic) - I submitted it via email in November. I sent a follow-up email this morning, but it seems to be a common issue with other people on this thread.

You're a lifesaver! Thank you!

Any chance that if the supplementary app still says "awaiting", that it could be waiting for CASPer completion?
Help! I'm taking SCS 2159 from UofT to meet the second physiology requirement but I didn't know we needed transcripts from them and it takes 10 days for the transcript to be sent over to me. McMaster has a transcript deadline of Feb 1st so I'm not sure if the transcript will be received in time, does anyone know who I can contact at Mac to talk about this? I've called the both the extensions with the number on the requirements page and I'm really worried my application might get thrown out because of this

I emailed them at [email protected] and they replied to me within two business days. I had a similar issue with my transcript and just ended up purchasing it electronically from ACORN (takes like 10 minutes to send to your email) and uploading that onto my Mac portal. I believe you can also just print out your academic history for free and upload that as an unofficial transcript!
