Hello!
Is anyone applying as a transfer next Fall?
Hi Everyone, I just had my interview today. I was told that there were 450 applicants this round and 115/200 interviewed will be accepted! Did anyone ask when we will get our acceptance/decline letters? I forgot to ask:). If anyone gets one please let us know!
Wait so 115 and not 80 will be accepted? Much better odds than I anticipated!
Hey rivercat, I just had my interview and I wanted to send a thank you note but I totally forgot the names of the professors who interviewed me. One of them was named Rachel or Rebecca or something and she's a Peds professor and the other one taught mental health.
If you know who I'm talking about could you let me know their names for sure so I can personalize the note? thanks so much!
hey all, they offer about 115 spots because they know people will decide to go somewhere else. That's where the confusion comes from, so the cohort is 80 for sure, but they offer 115 people a spot since they know some people won't actually enroll. Nice to know that they only interview 200, makes me feel like our chances are better since everyone here got an interview. I had mine yesterday and I think it went well.
Good luck everyone!

Hi K_greenleaf,
I also had a Pediatric professor named Ms. Hart and a Mental health professor named Ms.Kim. I hope that might help.
I think mostly those three things... I have a 3.7 in prereqs I think and a 3.8 in general GPA, but only about 240hrs of healthcare experience as a volunteer. My interview went okay but it could have been a lot better. How did your's go and what is your GPA and experience?:) Lastly, where did you hear mid-March?
I have a 3.7 prereq GPA and 3.85 overall GPA... I used to be a Paramedic Firefighter for about 8 years and then the rest working with RN's on patients on Hospice. I think my interview went well but i am not sure so we shall see... i think at this point they select people from the score they receive from their actual interview thats what my teacher said her friend that works at Seattle U said... But honestly i am not 100 percent sure
