I asked admissions and they waitlisted 43 people so our chances aren't great at this point

Do you know how many they accepted and rejected?

115 were accepted for 80 seats so they already assume that 35 people will say no. I'm not sure how many were rejected. I guess around 40ish

I got in!!!!! I am so happy to the point I started having tears of joy. Good job everyone who made it in. Those of you who didn't, please don't give up on your dream. Work hard and stay humble.

Best of luck to everyone who didn't get in or got waitlisted, I talked to a girl Who graduated last year, she didn't get in but then talked to SU about why not, she said they were really helpful and nice- she did what they said and got in the second time around.

I was accepted as well! Congrats to everyone that got in. And everyone else don't give up. I know you are going to hear it a lot but you will get in at some point. I was also rejected from UW and SU 2 years ago and waitlisted last year. Keep your heads up!

Does anyone know if they've ever pulled people off the waitlist? It sounds like people who were waitlisted were essentially rejected because they overcompensate by accepting 35 more students than they really have space for....?

The mail just got dropped off and my admissions packet is here! Surprised it was so soon, thought I'd be one of the last ones to get it since I'm in California! Congrats again everybody!
