Seattle University Transfer 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello!

Is anyone applying as a transfer next Fall?

I got my mail today too. Oh this is exciting. I can't wait to start studying and experience and learn what nurses do. I am also looking forward to meeting my classmates. Finally, all those nights I pulled out all nighters finally paid off.

A nurse I work with got in off the waitlist a couple of years ago when she applied. I'm guessing it's possible but not highly likely.

Is anyone planning to live on campus? I am now onto figuring out the living situation...

What and where will everyone be living? I'm curious, too. Housing is so expensive.

I'll be commuting everyday since I live not too far where are you guys coming from

I was accepted, but I will be declining the invitation. I will be attending the APNI DNP program at SU instead. Hopefully, this helps someone on the waitlist out. Congrats to everyone on your hard work.

I was just looking and it said on-campus housing isnt guaranteed to go to upper-classmen transfer students... I think for the orientation they will explain what our options are... hopefully

I went to SU for undergrad in another field and getting on campus housing is hard. I think they only guarantee it for freshman now (not sure about sophomores). That being said, if you have more credits coming in, your chances will likely be much higher to get an on-campus apartment. They have built multiple new on-campus housing locations, but they are still very expensive. Most people just rented out apartments or big house off campus and split the bill. Some people I know even had 1-2 people living in the living room to reduce rent.

Hi Everyone! I also was accepted! Has anyone received the email with the link to create our SU online account? I still haven't received one yet and I am wondering if this is the case with any of you? Looking forward to meeting you all in the fall :)

d_b_m_e Yes! Open up the app tracker> "view admission results" (or something like that- it is where it used to say 'under review') > at the bottom of the acceptance/welcome letter there should be a link that says 'activate your SU account' with more information on how to. :)

I will be bussing most likely due to morning traffic but I'm looking at about an hour and a half commute one way lol.

Me too. I will be taking the train. Which is not bad. I live close to the school which is one of the reasons why I applied to the school.
