Hi All,
I remember when I was applying to Seattle U's APNI (Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion) program a couple of years ago there was no information for me out there! So I wanted to circle back and answer any questions applicants or potential applicants might have. I finished the APNI portion last spring and now am in the first year of the primary care FNP/AGNP track.
Good luck to all.
This forum is super helpful, so glad it's here and I found it. I applied to the RN-FNP track and interviewed on Feb 11. I was notified of a wait-list offer on March 5. I haven't contacted admissions to ask about the process but have been in touch with them to continue to express my interest in admission.... trying to be optimistic, we will see! I thought I might give them a call next week to ask about any progress. From what I found on line from previous years, it seems that admitted candidates have until Apr 1 or around there to make a decision and if spots open up as those decisions come back then we may have a chance..

I was in contact with Oz, and she told me they are still making decisions on applications. Only some of the decisions were sent out last week and the school is trying to finish the remainder for this week. I would wait until next week if you’ve already been accepted, because it seems they are very busy right now. I’m sure there will be lots of information provided once all the acceptances are sent out!

I actually reached out to the financial aid department and they said that they will send out aid packages within about 2 weeks(end of March) for new admits.
Hi all, having been waitlisted twice myself, they do not assign numbers or share any information about numbers or your likelihood of getting in once placed on the waitlist. Round 1 I was not notified and just kept on waiting until school started, knowing in past years they have accepted people within 2-3 days of the program starting. Once day one began, I figured I was officially denied. Round 2 I was accepted off of the waitlist within 3 days of being put on the waitlist. From talking to folks in my cohort, I heard lots of variability of how quickly they were accepted from the waitlist: as early as 3 days for me, and as late as a few days before starting the program for others. I know that Oz is incredibly incredibly swamped. I know that isn't an excuse but I hope it provides some understanding and engenders some grace and patience. Good luck all!

I called yesterday to ask but wasn’t able to get a hold of the graduate specialist, so I left a voicemail.
