Seattle U APNI 2021

Published

Hello,

I did not see a thread for the Seattle U 2021 APNI track so I am going to get it started. I just submitted my application today for the psych track.

Has anyone on the waitlist heard back from them yet/has anyone emailed them?

Specializes in Critical Care.

No I have not! I am guessing they have all the students they need for this year! ?

Specializes in CNA.

I got off the waitlist three days ago! ( APNI DNP/FNP Track ). I almost gave up but here we go... anything could happen. From emails and forums, it appears people can come off the waitlist anytime till classes start in June 21st.

All the best to everyone.

Hi everyone! Congrats to all those accepted!! I have a question about the APNI program. It may be a stupid question, but do you need to have your bachelors to apply? I understand you do for the DNP program but the website is a little confusing as it only lists the prerequisites. Thanks in advance!!

The APNI program is a DNP program. So unless you are currently a nurse you do require a bachelor's degree

You need to have a bachelors + complete prerequisites listed to apply. APNI is set up for people with a non-nursing bachelors who wish to pursue a DNP. If you have a BSN already, you just have to apply to the SU DNP program directly (not as an APNI applicant) if that makes sense. The deadline for the RN-DNP is different than APNI-DNP.

Hey all, I'm also a current APNI student and found so much help through this website. I know several people in our cohort who were accepted from the wait-list. It's not over til it's over!

If anyone has been admitted but has questions about the program, affording the cost, general info on the school, DM me. I reached out to a few people in the above cohort on here last year and it gave me so much peace before accepting the offer.

Good luck!

Hey! Please message me when you can! I am currently an applicant from the east coast and have some questions for you please. Not many folksover here know about this program

It won't let me message you either. If you feel comfortable you can ask your questions here and I'll try to answer as best as I can. If I don't have the answers, I'm sure others can try to answer too.
