Seattle U APNI 2014

Is anyone applying to Seattle University's APNI program for summer 2014 start? I know there are a few very useful threads from past years. I'm gearing up and getting a bit anxious!

Please omit what I said regarding overnight shipping... brain freeze.

Have you thought about just submitting the applications as-is (if it will let you) and submitting the essays via email?

Good luck no matter what. I am sure they will be understanding since it is obviously a technical issue. But I can imagine it is frustrating! I felt so much better once mine was in the mail, and again when I saw the delivery confirmation...

DanOlympia, I am guessing you are in Olympia too?

That's what I'm going to do. I was going to wait for the website to magically start working (on a holiday weekend :) ), but no such luck.

I grew up down there but I'm actually in Tacoma these days. It's an old username that I keep going back to though.

Cool, Olympia is a great town (from someone who did NOT grow up here). We love it down here. Moved to WA only two years ago.

Has anyone been to one of a graduate open house? There's one coming up in January I will likely go to (unless I have been rejected already!). I didn't see anything more specific to the APNI programs.

Hi all!

I also just applied for the program :) I was also having trouble submitting my online application (I've had everything ready for a while now, should have submitted sooner :no:) but I THINK it's gone through now... At least I got a confirmation email back from SU saying thank you for submitting! so I think that means it went through??!! Although paying the application fee has been a whole other battle :( it's too bad to be having all these technical difficulties right around their application deadline!!

Anyways - guess it's a waiting game now :) good luck everybody!!

How did you do it?! It's so frustrating that I have to try 10 times to "maybe" make it work. Is anyone else having so much trouble with the online application??

I found that I had to save each page twice for it to actually save..

At the end it generated a link to a PDF of the application which would not open no matter how much I tried but I went ahead and submitted anyway - I just read over my application a few times again to confirm everything was accurate.

I agree with it being very frustrating! I hope mine is actually considered submitted (I did receive the email saying thank you for submitting but with all the confusion of saving and submitting I'm starting to doubt myself!)

I haven't been able to confirm that my payment has gone through though... I did Visa through PayPal and can see the charge on my account but on the application it still says "incomplete" :( anyone else having this problem??

For those of you out there who were successful in submitting the application - did you get a confirmation page at the end or anything like that? I have a green check mark next to my application submission but I never actually got a confirmation page?? (besides the email they sent).

I am also having all the same problems. Still cannot attach anything to my application! I wanted to go over my essay a few more times, so waited until this weekend to submit it... big mistake! ugh! I'm emailing them my essay and hoping for the best. Maybe with all the technical difficulties, if payment doesnt go through they will still accept our apps?? I sure hope so...

I'm thinking the same thing too dommem! I also sent them an email with my essay and resume attached. I don't think there's much more we can do at this point - maybe have a glass of wine and try to relax?!

Did you guys use this link? It does not work.

So I went to Apply - Graduate Admissions - Seattle University and click "apply online." But the page doesn't load!!!!!!!!
