Hi everyone! I am cece
I didn’t see a thread for Seattle U APNI program so I decided to make one! I wanted to talk to all of the future student.
Congrats to everyone who got accepted and will be attending this June. I'm from the 2022 cohort, but had to defer my studies after having my son in December. I'll be joing back up with the 2023 cohort in the Winter '24. In the meantime, I created a facebook group called "Seattle U APNI 2023 cohort" for you all to join to get to know each other, fine housing, and ask any questions! I'm also happy to help anyone study the first 2 quarters as I've taken and done well in all of those courses!
Cheers!

Thanks for starting a group! Can you post the link? It doesn't come up on my search results

Hi Clare!
Thanks for starting the FB group. I was curious about the deferral process and was wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing some of the details ?

Hello!
I can share my experience as a student who had already started the program. It's very easy, just communicate with the APNI advisor. You will fill out an online form and the associate dean will have to electronically sign to approve. However, since classes are only offered once a year, you will be forced to continue with the following cohort I know people have deferred due to starting families, health issues, personal issues, etc. The program seemed to work with students no matter what was going on. I hope this helps!
