I was just wondering if anyone out there applied for Seattle U's APNI program. I thought I'd start a thread because it doesn't look like there is one, yet.
I think we're supposed to hear about interviews sometime soon. Has anyone gotten word, yet?
MPH girl,
Thanks for sharing. It's interesting to hear the perspective of someone coming from public health since my passions are focused around preventative care..and I've been asked why I'm not pursuing a MPH. My reasons are similar to yours. Hopefully, we'll both be accepted and we can exchange ideas.
Good luck with your interview!
The MPH is a great degree to have. It gives you a different perspective of health and healthcare in general. I see it as a "supplement" to my future nursing degrees. In fact, there are several nursing schools around the country that now offer MSN/MPH combined programs. If you ever have the chance in the future, I'd recommend pursuing it.
I actually called the other day regarding the interviews, as I am going to be out of town for a few days next week, and I certainly don't want scheduling to be an issue. They said they were still reviewing applications, so if you've not heard about an interview yet, don't be disheartened.

I'm with MPH..I'm almost 100% certain that you'd have to interview to be considered. It would be strange to make exceptions to that practice. Hopefully, you'll get an invite soon!
