Hi everyone! I thought I'd start this thread since the Seattle Children's Feb New Grad Residency will be opening soon. I am a new grad from NorCal, where finding a job is quite literally impossible right now. I'm wondering how competitive this residency is? My dream is to start in the NICU. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!!

For the ones who haven't heard anything back yet, I was wondering what floors/units you applied to? I wonder if they are going based on floors or the process is just moving more slow

Hey guys! Has anyone heard back yet this week? I haven't received a screening interview or rejection so I'm starting to lose hope. Are they done with sending out interview invites? Or just taking a longer time to go through the apps? Last cohort I received a rejection a few days later.

Radio silence for me. I think they're just taking a longer time, but I also know a few other major hospitals are almost to the point of finishing up interviews and sending out offers...wonder why it's taking them so long

I'm from Texas and I already have a NICU position lined up here in austin buttt I applied for this cohort first day at around 4 and I haven't heard anything at all. No screening no rejection. Really hoping they'll reach out soon bc I'm gonna have to decide where I'm staying for residency soon :(( If anyone who applied for NICU hears anything please update. (I only did NICU did not do a second choice)

there's an email on the website but I think it's a general one and in their FAQ it says not to email about application updates so I've been scared to😣
